Anxieties about Hiring a Professional Sex Worker.

Recently I’ve received interests from gentlemen who have never hired a professional sex worker. Thousands of words in long emails… I’m deeply touched not only because of their words of praise and affection but also because they reached out to me with their honest and genuine concerns.

For anyone who has never met a sex worker, the very first time is always challenging. Looking at the lady’s photos, imagining her resting in your arms, her smiling eyes, her floral perfume, and the passionate night that follows… But for all of that to happen, you now need to submit your screening information and pay the deposit, which means you have to officially go through the process of “buying sex”. Ohhhh Orgasms…! Vol. 1

” – Numberwise, a vibrator can give me at least four big orgasms in a day; a passionate night can give me just as much and more … For me, being penetrated by a man is the one sweetest way to orgasm. And yes, it beats sex with a vibrating dildo.”

First of all, everyone reading this blog, please let go of any previous judgments about female orgasms (in terms of how and how many).  Our bodies are all different, just like only a percentage of women can squirt, some women find orgasms very difficult (no matter how hard they try), and that is completely okay. Exploration is great! However, there is absolutely no need to feel pressured or underperforming – what you feel is the best sex, *IS* the best sex for you.

I’m writing this blog in the hope to discuss female orgasms from my point of view. Continue reading “Ohhhh Orgasms…! Vol. 1”

Brief Note of Whats & Whys Vol. 1 – Murakami Haruki(村上春樹)

First of all,
I’m not a “Harukist”,
but neither am I a hater [I promise;)].

His books came into my life at a special timing when I was going through some emotional turbulence feeling isolated and misunderstood. Given the time passed since that point of time, I now have some confidence in finding clarity in his writing, which sometimes feels like a never-ending fog… 😉

For those who haven’t come across this author. Murakami is a Japanese writer who’s famous for his romantic novels and those talking about alienation and loneliness. He has a massive fan-base – much larger outside of Japan than inside. In the past 10-15 years, his books have won him many international literature awards which, along with other information, can be found on his wiki page:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haruki_Murakami

I don’t intend to either promote or criticise his books, but I hope this blog will provide insights on whats and whys to the type of author he is and his popularity. Continue reading “Brief Note of Whats & Whys Vol. 1 – Murakami Haruki(村上春樹)”

Dear gentlemen,

It is my pleasure to make this announcement that my journey welcomed its first long-term patron and a generous sponsor of traditional arts. Due to the commitment of the arrangement, my availability further reduced to 10 to 14 days each month.

(Find out more about both experience in policy and their separate pages – Geisha Banquet, Oriental Lover)

It is my hope that the finest Japanese cultures combined with intense sensual experience are not out of reach of those who genuinely appreciate them.

I haven’t been able to make it happen because of the enormous cost of operation, logistics, maintenance and the artistic training to continuously perfect my arts since I left Kyoto. Now I’m able to do so with the help from a special gentleman who is a true connoisseur of Japanese traditional arts and sensual intimate pleasures…

My apologies that now my availability is even less than it was; my intention is to secure Fridays and Saturdays (in rare occasions, Sundays) for my work and devote the rest of my professional time to my long-term arrangement(s).

Ukiyo-e & Maiko Portraits

I know I promised a while back on Twitter to write about paintings of Maiko and the artists who painted them… So with no further ado, let’s dive straight in!

Ukiyo-e paintings(浮世絵).
Ukiyo-e (literally: portraits of the floating world) is a genre of art that flourished in the Edo period as a result of the long-waited peace and prosperity. That’s when Japan was finally unified and ruled with a relatively centralised state power. In the absence of war, arts, entertainment and the economy started to flourish; it was also when kabuki and the profession of Geisha began.

If I remember correctly, the earliest Ukiyo-e artist who was famous for “beauty portraits”(美人画)was Katsushika Hokusai’s(葛飾北斎) daughter: Katsushika Oui(葛飾応為). Her father Hokusai is the one who created the genre of Ukiyo-e. He painted, I’m sure you have seen it somewhere, this:

And of course, the earliest tentacle erotica: (´・////・`)

I’d write a long blog about erotic shunga, netsuke toys and historical dildos, but they can wait for now… Continue reading “Ukiyo-e & Maiko Portraits”

Geisha, Tayū, Oiran and the “Sex” Question

I recently noticed that many Japanese working ladies, especially in the US, advertise themselves as “Geisha girl”, “former Geisha apprentice in Kyoto”, or knowledgeable of the Geisha culture, yet they openly claim that Geisha are courtesans.

As I stated in “Geisha and Sex”: Geisha did and do not sell sex for a living.

I say this out and loud because a big part of what I do is to introduce the real and authentic Geisha culture to my clients. Conflating Geisha with Yūjo (historical Japanese courtesans) does nothing but feeding an Orientalist myth (read more at “Geisha and Sex“) which then feeds the hypersexualisation of Japan and Japanese women (read more at “Harmful Racial Fetish“).

To clarify the women in the “world of flower and willow” who are commonly mistaken for one another, I made this table below: Continue reading “Geisha, Tayū, Oiran and the “Sex” Question”

Harmful Racial Fetish & “I like Japanese women”

This is a blog on some race related issues in the sex industry.

In a previous conversation with a fellow Japanese escort, our common racial background naturally became a topic which brought up an interesting question: how do we handle clients’ racial preferences or something people would call: “racial fetish”?

Unfortunately, the answer is complicated as lines have to be drawn around this terminology.

Obsession
First thing first, there is a group of men out there who are, culturally or sexually, ‘obsessed’ with the idea of Japanese women. Many of them believe that Japanese women are petite, cute, naturally submissive with an innocent look while secretly having an abnormally high sex drive…

These men are very often misled into this obsession by Japanese pornography or erotic manga/anime, which are created for the sole purpose to fulfil a specific type of male sexual fantasy. Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of Japanese men who, too, share this obsession. However, when it comes within the context that I work in Sydney and my clients are mostly white, this kind of stereotypical misconception becomes a harmful orientalist/colonialist fantasy, that will most definitely sour the romantic encounter by squeezing the lady into his misguided framework of what she should be, and sometimes it can become a threat to the safety of us Japanese sex workers.

It is this type of men who raised red flags for the sentence “I like Japanese women.” By saying that, what many of them are essentially saying, is that they have a set of expectations as to what a Japanese woman should be, how she should behave, and sometimes, what services she should agree to provide when he pushes ‘hard enough’. Now I believe we all see how this can become dangerous…

Core Issues and Our Responsibility
The core issue with this is not whether a provider should or can offer submissive racial fantasy as a service, I know some ladies who are reputable professional subs as the “Japanese porn girl”; the core issue, however, is a historical misconception of the female “Japanese-ness”, issues with consent/boundary-pushing, and lastly, a mismatch of clients and providers. Escorting and Self-Care

Morning meditation and yoga – I’d never dare to claim having mastered either of them. Life has endless treasures to offer yet too little time to learn. My practice is much less frequent than I want them to be, but I’ve made it a weekly routine to watch sunrise, practice yoga and have a ten minutes’ meditation before heading to breakfast.
